On Seattle beach the water was so calm that the only surfing possible was paddle surfing. Later in Ucluelet, a real surf town, we found out that these surfers are not the most respected in the (surfing) community.

Outside Seattle’s Pike Place Market there are many seagulls that have a very easy life eating the trash the fishmongers take out regularly.

Seattle’s Pike Place Market is one of the main tourist attractions. I didn’t find it that special, and the fish throwing, sorry to say it, but it’s just men throwing fish around amongst a huge crowd of tourists.
